Monkey Puzzle Nursery Southgate provides a nurturing home from home environment, welcoming children aged three months to five years old. Additionally, your child will experience an emphasis on learning through play, by our carefully selected team of practitioners. They will ensure your child has high quality childcare in a safe and secure environment. It is important that your child remains engaged whilst still having lots of fun, which we achieve through our planned activities.
Moreover, Monkey Puzzle Southgate has dedicated rooms for the various age ranges, babies, toddlers and preschool. Each of the nursery rooms reflect the seven areas of learning, as prescribed in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Most importantly, every child can enjoy all of our facilities due to them being accessible and designed for everyone to enjoy. Our nursery is part of an award winning nursery group with over 30 years experience.

🦺🏗Construction site 👷🚧
Our toddlers had a busy morning building and constructing with the foam blocks and crazy foam. Dressing up and working together to build houses and towers. They also looked at blue prints of buildings and designed their own on the chalk board 🧱👷🏼♂️

Today we celebrated Oral Health Day 🦷 Did you know that as an early years provider our EYFS statutory framework states that all providers must promote good Oral Health for all children who attend the setting.
We promote Oral Health everyday from babies right through to our pre-schoolers and it is so important because it helps babies and children to:

🎨Colour Mixing 🎨
Today preschool have been busy learning all about primary and secondary colours.
They used water and food colouring to mix colours together making colours Purple, Orange and Green.
The children loved watching the colours change and communicating with their peers about how they made the different colours. They also decided together to mix all the colours together and agreed that it made the colour brown.
